Hi ,
Tremendous founder interviews this week on the pod
Chris Pitchford, Founder of Brev
Nicole Donnelly, Founder of AISmartMarketing.com
Benjamin Johnson, CEO of Particle41
Tip of the spear:
Court documents reveal OpenAI is coming for your iPhone LINK
An internal OpenAI document outlines a strategy for ChatGPT to evolve into a "super-assistant" accessible on third-party surfaces including Apple's Siri.
This envisioned "super-assistant" aims for T-shaped skills for daily tasks and deep expertise, becoming personalized and available to users anywhere they go.
OpenAI's strategy involves new agentic tools for device control, positioning it to challenge "powerful incumbents" and expand beyond its current Siri integration.
Google settles shareholder lawsuit, will spend $500M on being less evil LINK
Alphabet will spend $500 million over ten years on systematic reforms after settling a shareholder lawsuit designed to reduce Google's anticompetitive practices.
A new board-level committee overseeing regulatory compliance and antitrust risk will report directly to CEO Sundar Pichai as a key part of the settlement.
Google also agreed to preserve communications, tackling issues with auto-deleting chats, while the company admits no wrongdoing under the recent agreement.
Meta aims to fully automate advertising with AI by 2026 LINK
Meta intends full AI-driven automation for advertising creation and targeting by the end of 2026, where companies only need to provide a product image and budget.
The technology is envisioned to subsequently craft entire campaigns, generating all necessary visuals, video, text, and defining precise audience segments for advertisers.
This automated approach aims to personalize ads in real time based on viewer context, a strategic pillar for the company supported by its Llama models.
Neuralink competitor completes first human implant LINK
Neuralink competitor Paradromics announced surgeons inserted its Connexus brain implant into a person for the first time, safely removing the device after roughly 10 minutes.
This initial procedure at University of Michigan involved temporarily placing the implant in the patient’s temporal lobe, verifying it could record electrical signals from their brain.
The company's technology, featuring 420 tiny protruding needles, is designed to translate neural signals into synthesized speech, text, and cursor control for individuals with paralysis.
Prompt of the week:
You are a world-class business strategist and operator with deep experience advising founders. I’m a founder looking to expose both tactical and strategic blind spots in my business across all major areas: product, marketing, sales, customer success, operations, finance, team, and vision.
Ask me a series of probing questions designed to uncover hidden risks, missed opportunities, or flawed assumptions. I want the questions to challenge my thinking, stress-test my plans, and help me see what I might be overlooking.
Separate the questions into two categories:
Tactical Questions (day-to-day execution, resource allocation, workflows)
Strategic Questions (long-term positioning, differentiation, scalability, mission alignment)
Prioritize clarity, depth, and relevance. Aim to uncover the questions I didn’t know I needed to ask.
